Date:ย  4 hours per day, 8 meeting dates

Description:
The Logan Hocking School District is seeking certified Preschool Teachers for our 2025 Summer School Program. This short-term position is perfect for an early childhood educator to engage young learners through creative, developmentally appropriate summer instruction.

ย Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with the appropriate teacher license to perform the teaching duties necessary to teach Pre-K - 3rd.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Effective, active listening skills.
  • Familiar with the Pre-K On My Way is preferred.

Terms of Employment:ย 

  • Preschool Summer School, 8 day contract.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the PreK On My Way curriculum

  • Create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment that supports all areas of child development

  • Collaborate with the preschool teaching team to coordinate instruction, activitiesย  and schedule

  • Use observation and data collection to monitor student progress and inform instruction

  • Support the social-emotional growth of students through positive behavior strategies and classroom management
