Rotational Program OverviewÂ
AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint. Â
- Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/TexasÂ
- Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needsÂ
- Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementationÂ
- Build Cross-Office Collaboration Skills with teams across design centers and job sitesÂ
- Prepare Future Project Leaders with diverse, real-world experienceÂ

What you will do:Â
- Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.Â
- Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD ProgramÂ
- Prepare design calculation documentationÂ
- Develop construction cost estimatesÂ
- Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate ImprovementsÂ
- Work is completed in the office with occasional site visitsÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Who you are:Â
- Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil EngineeringÂ
- Reliable transportation to and from office locationÂ
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new thingsÂ
- Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026Â
