Weโ€™ve had significant growth in the past few years and are continuing to build upon that growth. Positions that we seek may include chemical operators, supervisors, chemists, engineers, and salespersons.

We have multiple openings for our โ€œEngineering Internโ€ position for the โ€œAutumn Semesterโ€ beginning August 24, 2026 until December 18, 2026. This position will primarily be based out of our Columbus, Ohio plant with some travel to support our Detroit, Michigan facility.

Summary:

We are seeking self-motivated engineering students to join our team for a full-time intern experience in which students will have the opportunity to work hands-on with other engineers, operations, maintenance, and safety teams in a manufacturing environment. This intern position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in a true engineering role in which interns are provided with the opportunity to learn meaningful skills while also adding value to the organization. Interns will have the opportunity to assist with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering projects from defining project scope to timely execution.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will be dependent upon the needs of the business. These responsibilities allow interns to gain professional experience in areas such as, but not limited to the following:

  • Engineering/Maintenance/Production Project Support
  • Improving operator training program
  • Updating and standardizing process safety information
  • Processing historian data
  • Create standardization of various maintenance related tasks
  • Potential travel to new Detroit facility

Requirements:

  • Must work closely with Operators, Technicians, and Engineering resources in support of preventative maintenance work, production improvement projects, and quality or productivity improvements.
  • Must collaborate with others to accomplish Departmental, Corporate and Facility goals. Must be able to multi-task and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to our Detroit facility as needed.
  • Engineering Interns should expect to work full-time during the semester with the opportunity to return for future semesters.
  • Ideal candidates for our Engineering Intern position would be 2nd or 3rd year students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
