As a Third-Party CDL Examiner based in Columbus, Ohio, you will be responsible for administering commercial driver's license examinations in strict accordance with the State of Ohio and the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) guidelines.

Your mission is to ensure that every CDL exam administered is fair, consistent, and adheres strictly to safety and state protocols. If you are detail-oriented, passionate about highway safety, and looking for a local role that keeps you home every night, we want to talk to you.

What You Will Do

  • Administer CDL Exams: Conduct comprehensive Class A commercial driver's license testing, evaluating applicants fairly and consistently under the defined guidelines of the State of Ohio and AAMVA.
  • Ensure Fleet Safety: Inspect testing vehicles prior to exams to verify that trucks are in good operating order and fully safe for the road and yard portions of the test.
  • Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Accurately complete, process, and file all required state paperwork, training records, and examination documentation in a timely manner.
  • Promote Professionalism: Maintain a structured, professional, and neutral testing environment, exhibiting patience and clear communication with all exam candidates.

Our Benefits

  • Health & Wellness: Medical and dental insurance (shared expense).
  • Paid Time Off: * Paid vacation: 1 week to start, 2 weeks after year 1, and 3 weeks after year 2.
    • 8-hour paid day off for a full year of perfect attendance.
    • Paid day off for your birthday after 1 year of service (8 hours floating holiday).
  • Gear & Tools: Provided branded gear and access to necessary yard/testing laptops and technology.

Why Work With Us?

We are dedicated to ensuring the drivers who keep America moving are tested to the highest standards of safety and proficiency. Joining our team means stepping into a stable, respected role within the commercial transportation industry that offers professional growth, structured hours, and a direct impact on state highway safety.
