Job description

At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a certified technology solutions and compliance consulting services company? If so, our client is hiring an Automation Engineer - Robotics.
Position Type:

  • Contract
  • On-Site 

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in an operational GxP-regulated environment with a strong understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
  • Firsthand experience implementing industrial automation and integrated automation systems.
  • Experience with robotics (ASRS and AGV experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing technologies.
  • Direct experience working in regulated environments (GMP, OSHA, and EPA).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required; fluent in English with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, integration, commissioning, qualification, validation, and operation of automated packaging, ASRS, and AGV systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and review automation system specifications to ensure alignment with operational, compliance, and user requirements.
  • Lead and maintain compliance documentation for automated warehouse, ASRS, and AGV systems, ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Execute and support CQV activities for packaging, warehouse automation, robotics, and associated software systems.
  • Collaborate with Quality, CSV, Manufacturing, Packaging, and IT/OT teams to ensure system compliance, data integrity, and operational readiness.
  • Support controls and automation design reviews, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics, and industrial network integration.
  • Partner with automation vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant automation solutions while meeting project milestones.
