Job description

Memory Care Director Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the Memory Care unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resident care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' cognitive and physical needs.
• Train, mentor, and support memory care staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to families and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including safety and care standards.
• Plan and oversee engaging activities and programs designed for memory care residents.
• Collaborate with the broader leadership team to maintain a resident-centered community.
Memory Care Director Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in memory care, dementia care, or senior living nursing management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of best practices for Alzheimer's and dementia care.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused mindset.
• Ability to mentor and inspire a team of caregivers.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation requirements.
• Must be a licensed LPN or RN.
