Job description

Overview

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages and operates John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and Bolton Field (TZR). Responsibilities
  • Lead solicitations for the purchase of related goods and services, including creating solicitation and contract documents, developing requirements, managing selection teams and project schedules, evaluating bids and proposals, and negotiating contract awards with vendors.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with other departments, business purchasers, or end users.
  • Approve decentralized purchases, including approving Purchase Orders in Workday and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Negotiate or re-negotiate contractual terms with vendors and monitor contract expirations for assigned departments.
  • Facilitate contract renewals and monitor vendor performance; manage procurement planning with end user departments.
  • Manage documents in accordance with records retention policies and support responses to public record requests and vendor disputes or protests.
  • Oversee disposal, transfer, and reutilization of personal property and equipment, designate surplus supplies, and supervise selling, trading, or disposal activities.
  • Advise on procurement matters to personnel authorized to purchase and administer procurement document processes.
  • Perform related work as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in public procurement or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to interpret, use, and negotiate contractual terms, conditions, and pricing to establish contracts.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (drug testing includes marijuana; medical marijuana cards are not acceptable).
Compensation

Salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. The offered salary is evaluated based on internal equity, job knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors.
