Job Title:Director, Player Development Men's BasketballDepartment:Athletics | Basketball Men

Job Description

The Player Development Coach is responsible for designing and implementing individualized and position-specific development plans for student-athletes while contributing to the overall success and direction of the basketball program.

This position will work closely with the Head Coach and coaching staff to maximize each player's individual potential and translate player development into team success. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher of the game, an excellent relationship builder, and a highly organized professional who understands the demands of NCAA Division I basketball. This role will be responsible for player development, player evaluation, and preparation. This role will also be responsible for recruiting, developing professional relationships and building a positive team culture. This role will also assist in the operations of the program.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be required. 8 years of relevant experience required. 12 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
