Job description

Busy Sleep Clinic looking for front desk, Medical assistant to check in and room patients, check vitals. Prior experience with CPAP and BIPAP machines a plus. Medical assisting degree is not a must, we can train, but prior experience in the health care field required.

Candidate must be hardworking, have good attendance and patient skills. Candidate must be willing to work as a team.

Medical Assistant / Front Desk

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Front Desk team member to support our busy sleep medicine clinic. This role combines patient intake, clinical support, insurance verification, and scheduling for sleep studies and home sleep testing. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced medical environment.  Must be a quick learner, a team player, and have good attendance

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients; verify photo ID and insurance
  • Collect copays and document payments accurately
  • Scan and maintain patient records and forms in the EMR system
  • Record vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, neck size)
  • Schedule sleep studies, home sleep tests, and follow-up appointments
  • Review insurance eligibility and precertification needs
  • Communicate with providers, billing, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification or healthcare office experience preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and patient intake processes

Requirements

  • Ability to travel between Grove City and Knightsbridge
  • Professional demeanor and HIPAA compliance
