Job description

Overview

Our law firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This is a search for a key role supporting an attorney in all aspects of pre-litigation and/or litigation case management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and compassionate, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload while providing exceptional client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution (pre-litigation and/or litigation)
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
  • Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills
  • Draft correspondence, demand packages, and legal documents
  • Assist attorneys with discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation
  • Track deadlines, statutes of limitations, and case milestones
  • Coordinate lien resolution and disbursement processes
  • Utilize case management software to document and track case activity

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury processes (pre-litigation and/or litigation)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
  • Experience with medical records and billing review strongly preferred
