Job description

What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Sourcing Planner for information technology within the Office of Budget & Finance headquartered at Central Office in Franklin County. What you will do...
• Work independently to lead the agency in researching, evaluating, and administering the agency's information technology (IT) contract portfolio.
• Transition IT to a centralized procurement process.
• Utilize strategic sourcing to maximize agency spend for goods and services and improvements to supply chain, delivery, and cost reductions.
• Plan and improve the use of preference programs across the contract portfolio.
• Determine cost projections across the agency contract portfolio, identify cost savings, and establish cost controls and a reduction plan.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Starting hourly pay of $34.53/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $50.66/hr.
• There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services.

Qualifications
42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing to include exp. in performing spend analysis, developing sourcing strategy & evaluating vendor performance.
-Or completion of undergraduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field AND 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
-Or Completion of graduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management or logistics, supply chain management, operations management or other sourcing related field AND 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
-Or 24 mos. exp. as Sourcing Analyst, 64512.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Senior Sourcing Analyst, 64513.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
