Job description

What you will do:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Meeting and Event Scheduling: Schedule meetings using the Court's database and maintain the meetings and events calendar. Set up for meetings in conference rooms, court lobbies, and other areas as required, including basic AV setup.
Meeting Setup and Equipment: Make recommendations on equipment and supplies for meeting rooms, set up meeting rooms, and prepare signage for conferences, meetings, and events. Clean up before and after meetings.
Food and Beverage Coordination: Order lunch and food service for meetings, liaise with vendors, collect food orders from the dock, and set up in meeting rooms. Order beverages, supplies, and room equipment when needed. Maintain kitchen equipment and clean refrigerators, ice makers, and warming ovens. Wash and maintain table linens, dinnerware, and utensils.
Off-site Deliveries: Deliver and set up at off-site locations. Transport secured documents for the Bar Exams.
Mailroom Duties: Deliver and pick up incoming and outgoing mail throughout the building. Drive the mail room van when necessary, loading and unloading mail. Operate postage equipment, including X-ray equipment for scanning inbound mail deliveries. Scan and verify receipt of express packages using a hand-held device.
Postage and Mail Processing: Maintain postage accounts and process outbound mail. Sort and bundle inbound mail daily, ensuring proper delivery to each office. Use Presort to keep postage costs down.
Supply Deliveries: Sign for supply deliveries, inspect items for damage, refuse damaged items, and sign for undamaged items. Deliver supplies to the ordering department or arrange for pick-up at the dock.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with internal customers and the public. Ability to obtain certification in the use of X-ray scanning equipment is required.
