Job description

Medical Technologist, Clinical Applications Support

Columbus, OH Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 per year

This company is a well established, financially stable medical device manufacturer providing lab instrumentation and related clinical applications support. The Medical Technologist, Clinical Applications Support will provide operational and customer support, both in person and remotely, to labs using the company's instrumentation across the greater Columbus, OH area. Full product training is provided.

Schedule Full time, based in the greater Columbus, OH area, with some overnight travel required for on site customer support.

Compensation $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

What You'll Do This role provides operational and customer support for the company's lab instrumentation, working directly with clinical lab customers both in person and online across the greater Columbus, OH region. The Medical Technologist applies a strong working knowledge of QC and Westgard rules, CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and relevant regulatory requirements to support customers effectively, and travels overnight periodically to provide on site support.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • MT (ASCP) certification
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Medical Technologist
  • Strong understanding of QC and Westgard rules
  • Familiarity with CLSI validation protocols, IQCP, and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Ability to travel overnight periodically
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the greater Columbus, OH area
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing clinical applications or technical support in a lab instrumentation or medical device setting
  • Experience training or supporting laboratory staff on new instrumentation
