Plant Operations General Manager

Role focus
  • Safety leadership and compliance across regulatory, environmental, and corporate requirements.
  • End-to-end performance management for safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and employee retention.
  • Lean-driven continuous improvement and data-centric problem solving to eliminate waste and raise efficiency.
  • Standardize processes to create discipline, consistency, and accountability at every level.
  • Workforce planning: staffing levels, succession pipelines, and talent development for all shifts.
  • Frontline leadership coaching, mentoring, and engagement to elevate decision quality and team outcomes.
  • Employee engagement strategies that support the company culture, reduce turnover, and sustain morale and productivity.
  • Strategy deployment: convert corporate and regional direction into plant-level targets, using technology, data, and CI tools to move KPIs safely.
  • Inventory control, materials management, and order-fulfillment accuracy that enable production goals and superior customer service.
  • Operational budgeting: develop, manage, and flex plans as business and market conditions evolve.
