Job description

Job Title

Primary requirements:

  • The candidate will be responsible for designing new modules for an existing application using Microservices architecture preferably with frameworks like Java Spring boot. This requires 5 years of Java Microservices development experience and also experience developing Restful APIs
  • The application uses DB2 as the database but will have the possibility to move to a non-relational database. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with DB2 and any other non-relational database
  • The application primarily uses MQ for the communication between several modules. Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing, maintaining, developing using IBM MQ
  • The application is hosted on a containerized platform. The candidate should have experience of deploying applications in any of the containerized platforms like IBM Cloud Private or Open Shift or similar techs

“Good to have” requirements:

  • Part of the application is built in IBM IIB; it will be good to have IBM IIB knowledge and experience
  • The application we use is IBM Financial Transaction Manager: Experience in IBM FTM is good to have
  • The payment rail we support is TCH RTP (The Clearing House – Real Time Payments).
