Mechanical Design Engineer (2 positions)

Advance CNC Machining – Grove City, Ohio

Salary: $85,000 DOE

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who takes pride in getting the details right—and getting the job done?


We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is proactive, organized, and conscientious. Someone who can take a project, understand what needs to happen, work through the details, and see it through to completion. 

At Advance CNC Machining, we specialize in producing high precision machined parts for customers from coast to coast including equipment manufacturers, food, drug and the aerospace and defense industries. What You’ll Do

As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll provide accurate designs and analysis, be a problem solver, and take ownership of your projects and see them through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of sample parts and machinery
  • Interpretation of technical design information
  • Design of parts and mechanical assemblies as per customer requirements
  • Creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
  • Collaboration with customers, vendors, and other team members

Compensation package includes:

  • 401k plan with a generous 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
  • 80 hours of paid time off (PTO) your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours.

The right Mechanical Design Engineer is detail-oriented, works independently, communicates clearly, and has strong recall.

The skills needed:

  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor’s degree or other education and experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge from relevant experience, such as manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management
