Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in various outdoor environments, including construction sites. This role involves performing a variety of tasks that require physical strength and the ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.

Duties

  • Assist in various construction projects by performing tasks such as pouring concrete, moving material, operating power tools and building fences.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required on the job site.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Support landscape maintenance activities, including planting and general upkeep of outdoor spaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to build structures according to project specifications.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
  • Experience in carpentry is desirable but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Reliable transportation from an owned vehicle
