Job Description:
The Lab Assistant assists laboratory technical staff by performing various pre-analytical and support functions.
  • Orders and verifies specimens.
  • Performs pre-analytical specimen preparation.
  • Processes referral testing.
  • Processes specimen rejections.
  • Responds to customer requests.

Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.

Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
