Job description

Who We Are Looking For (No Experience Required):

We are looking for someone who wants to build a career helping families make thoughtful decisions about protecting what matters. You do not need insurance experience; we will teach you the industry, our products, and our approach. What we need you to bring is a strong work ethic, positive energy, curiosity, resilience, and a genuine desire to grow.

This is an acquisition role, so success requires consistent outreach, comfort starting conversations with people you do not yet know, and the discipline to follow opportunities through. But our goal is not simply to produce transactions. We want to earn trust, understand what a family is trying to protect, and help people make informed insurance decisions.

This role is a great fit if you:

  • Bring positive energy. You respond to challenges with optimism and resilience and contribute positively to the people around you.
  • Look for solutions. When something gets difficult, you stay resourceful, ask good questions, and find a clear way forward.
  • Enjoy connecting with people. You are comfortable starting conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and building trust with people you have just met.
  • Are motivated by growth and achievement. Goals energize you. You want to improve your skills, measure your progress, and become excellent at your work.
  • Care about people. You understand that behind every quote is a person or family making decisions about their financial protection.
  • Welcome coaching and accountability. You want clear expectations, useful feedback, and the opportunity to improve through consistent practice.

What You Will Do:

  • Create new customer relationships through consistent daily outreach and timely follow-up with prospective customers.
  • Guide prospects through insurance conversations that help uncover what they are trying to protect and what risks matter to their household.
  • Prepare and present property and casualty insurance options clearly, confidently, and professionally.
  • Educate families on how insurance can protect their assets, income, and financial plans from significant loss.
  • Build trust, respond thoughtfully to questions and concerns, and help prospects make informed decisions rather than simply chasing a transaction.
  • Manage leads, appointments, follow-up work, and documentation with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Work alongside a high-performing team to achieve individual and agency acquisition goals.
  • Obtain and maintain your Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license. We will guide you through the licensing process.

Benefits & Compensation (Full-Time Eligible):

  • Stable Base Pay: $37,128 reliable base salary.
  • Performance Upside: Uncapped commissions and performance bonuses ($70K-$80K expected total first-year earnings).
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with a company match.
  • Health Benefits: Group medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Income Protection: Group life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability.
  • Time Off: Generous paid time off package.

A Final Thought:

  • We are intentional about the people we invite onto our team. We are not looking for someone who simply wants a sales job, nor do we require someone who already knows insurance. We are looking for someone who wants to become excellent at earning trust, understanding what matters to people, and helping families make informed decisions about protecting it. The right person will work hard, stay positive when the answer is no, learn from coaching, and keep getting better. They will care about both the people they serve and the results they produce. In return, we will provide training, clear expectations, meaningful accountability, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career on a high-performing team.
