MRI Technologist Imaging Services
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: MRI
Schedule: Wednesday Friday | 3 days/week | 12.5-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 10:00 22:30

Athena Medtech is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MRI Technologist to join our advanced imaging team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Ideal candidates will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years as an MRI Technologist
Licensure/Certification:
ARRT (MR) certification preferred
BLS/CPR certification (required)
Preferred Experience: Previous travel or multi-facility imaging experience is a plus
Accurately prepare, position, and image patients based on physician orders and anatomical protocols
Perform patient pre-screening, appointment scheduling, and exam-related education
Operate MRI equipment to capture clear and accurate cross-sectional images
Transfer and manage patient data and imaging files, ensuring proper PACS documentation and image labeling
Maintain compliance with radiation safety procedures and HIPAA guidelines
Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or performance issues promptly
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe imaging department
Proficient in MRI operation and diagnostic image acquisition
Strong patient care and communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and imaging parameters
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during long shifts
