Title: Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist - Contract

Location: Burbank, CA

Duration: Contract

Shift: As per facility requirements


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The role focuses on producing high-quality echocardiographic images and supporting cardiology teams in patient diagnosis and care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform adult echocardiography procedures (2D, Doppler, and related imaging)

  • Obtain accurate and high-quality cardiac images for interpretation

  • Prepare and position patients for procedures

  • Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively

  • Assist physicians during cardiac diagnostic evaluations

  • Ensure proper documentation in EMR systems (Meditech)

  • Maintain equipment and report technical issues

  • Follow infection control and hospital safety standards

  • Ensure proper image labeling and timely submission

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care


Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Cardiac Sonography / Echo Technology required

  • Certification preferred (ARDMS or CCI preferred)

  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology

  • Ability to work independently in a hospital environment

  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • BLS Certification preferred/required
