Job description

The Intervention Specialist plays a critical role in supporting students with unique learning needs. This position focuses on developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing behavioral support, and collaborating closely with educators and parents to facilitate academic and social success. The specialist monitors student progress and ensures compliance with all educational regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide behavioral support tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators to coordinate intervention strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
  • Monitor academic and behavioral progress of students
  • Deliver academic interventions to support learning goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and district standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IEP development
  • Strong collaboration skills
