The Opportunity

Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Production Planning Analyst.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This role focuses on supporting end-to-end supply chain and planning operations through project execution, data management, and reporting. It involves maintaining critical planning tools, dashboards, and datasets to ensure accurate visibility into demand, supply, inventory, and capacity. The position also plays a key role in enabling the S&OP process by preparing analyses, supporting planning cycles, and providing insights that inform decision-making and align stakeholders.

What You'll Work On

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support end-to-end planning processes through regular reporting, data validation, and system/process maintenance
  • Generate and analyze routine reports, including trend analysis, comparisons, and stakeholder communication
  • Support planning cycle activities, including data preparation, validation, and final plan releases
  • Create and maintain dashboards and tools to ensure accurate visibility into inventory, supply, and performance metrics
  • Manage and update key planning systems, master data, and analytical tools
  • Prepare and distribute recurring inventory and performance reports, monitoring overall health and risks
  • Maintain capacity and performance dashboards to highlight constraints and utilization
  • Own and maintain critical data files and reporting tools used for supply chain analysis and decision-making
  • Develop inputs for leadership reporting, providing insights into supply, demand, and inventory trends
  • Maintain operational data tables, including demand, production, and actual performance metrics
  • Track and report key risk indicators, supporting visibility and mitigation efforts
  • Lead project development and execution. Prepare project plans, develop schedules, and financial impacts
  • Ad-hoc analytics support to the production planning team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain related roles

Preferred:

  • Data Analytics, Business, Management, Science or Engineering disciplines preferred
  • Advanced data analytics experience SQL, Databricks, PowerBI, Alyterx or similar platforms
  • Advanced MS office, in particular Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible, organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, with customer driven focus and sense of urgency.
  • Analytical thinking and proactive problems solving skills. Strong ability to perceive and analyze problems and to develop and implement solutions.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to write and express ideas clearly; plan and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Self-starter
