Director of Day Services
Schedule: Full-time

Ability Matters is growing, and we're looking for an experienced leader to strengthen and expand Day Services programming.
As Director of Day Services Programming, you'll oversee strategy, develop high-performing teams, and ensure innovative, person-centered services that create meaningful inclusion and measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do
Lead Program Strategy & Innovation
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve engaging, person-centered day service programming.

Oversee Staff Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability and service excellence.

Ensure Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with DODD, Medicaid, and agency standards while ensuring safe, high-quality services.

Drive Operational Excellence
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, budgets, and program performance to ensure consistency and fiscal responsibility.

Monitor Outcomes & Program Growth
  • Use data, quality assurance, and reporting to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement.

Support Strategic Growth
  • Partner with executive leadership to expand services, strengthen partnerships, and drive long-term organizational growth.

Provide Direct Leadership Presence
  • Deliver direct services weekly and maintain visibility within programming to support connection and quality oversight.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in developmental disabilities or human services
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, staffing, and program operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
