Position Summary

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Executive Director serves as the senior operational leader of NCUS TEC and is responsible for advancing the institution's strategic growth, operational excellence, accreditation, compliance, and workforce impact. This leader will oversee daily operations while building the infrastructure necessary to scale a nationally accredited career college serving multiple campuses and high-demand industries. The Executive Director will strengthen employer and higher education partnerships, advance Title IV readiness, improve organizational systems, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and measurable outcomes that align with NCUS TEC's mission of transforming lives through education and workforce development.


Must Have

  • Executive leadership experience within a postsecondary institution, career college, workforce development organization, community college, or comparable educational enterprise
  • Demonstrated ability to build organizational infrastructure, implement scalable systems, and lead organizations through growth and change
  • Strong understanding of accreditation, regulatory compliance, Title IV readiness, and postsecondary education administration
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships with employers, higher education institutions, workforce agencies, corporate partners, and community stakeholders
  • Financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, strategic planning, organizational performance management, and resource allocation
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to lead effectively through ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and execution
