Are you a creative and driven Product Development Engineer looking for your next career opportunity in Columbus, Ohio? Our client, a well-respected research and innovation company, is seeking a talented engineer to join their growing team. Known for partnering with organizations around the globe to bring new products and technologies to market, this company offers the chance to work on exciting, cutting-edge projects from concept through production. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play an integral role in developing innovative solutions and supporting the successful launch of new products.


  • Design Engineering Responsibilities:Conduct research and develop innovative product concepts with an emphasis on scalable, high-volume manufacturing.
  • Evaluate emerging materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods to improve product performance, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead prototype development activities, including testing, validation, reliability analysis, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
  • Create and refine product designs using CAD software such as CATIA and other 2D/3D modeling tools.
  • Partner with customers and stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure project objectives and requirements are achieved.
  • Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Engineering Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated success designing electro-mechanical or other manufactured products.
  • Experience with CATIA preferred; candidates with strong experience using comparable CAD software will also be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of excelling in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
