Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. Job Description

As an Internal Audit intern, you'll gain exposure to both assurance and advisory work, helping teams assess risks, evaluate business processes, and provide insights that drive improvement. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, learn about Nationwide's operations, and develop valuable analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills through meaningful, real-world projects.

This internship will be based out of our Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12 week experience.

Qualifications

  • Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data & Analytics, Information Systems within 2-3 semesters of graduation
  • Academic excellence (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
  • Experiences that demonstrate leadership qualities and interest in data analytics, technology, problem-solving, or risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is: $23 - $50
