We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Hygienist, either entry-level or experienced, who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills. This position offers flexible scheduling options with both part-time and full-time opportunities. You will play a vital role in educating patients and delivering preventive dental care, contributing to their overall oral health and well-being.

Job Description

Perform dental cleanings including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing for patients of all ages
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and safely
Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments and sealants for decay prevention
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices
Maintain strict infection control procedures and sterilize dental instruments properly
Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a positive experience
Assist with anesthesiology procedures as needed
Support the dental team in maintaining a collaborative and efficient work environment

Salary Range

Full-time $45 - $52 per hour

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: Once a month (optional)
Sunday: Closed
No nights or weekends (except occasional Saturday)
Choose your own hours within the above schedule

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
  • Infection Control License
  • Licensed dental hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required
CPR Certification
Proficiency in taking vital signs and administering local anesthesia
Knowledge of infection control protocols and radiographic procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients clearly
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
