Position Summary

Under assessment and supervision of the Director of Surgical Procedures and according to established policies and procedures, performs activities in order to assist health care providers in performing various technical /clinical procedures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, reprocess, and manage all equipment and scopes for Endo Diagnostic Lab at both main hospital and Tamarack locations
  • Assist with Endoscopy Lab department tasks and stocking
  • Document reprocessing records and complete routine audits
  • Check in all daily supplies and put away accordingly
  • Assist GI staff with instrument locations and transport
  • Prepare supply orders for surgical buyers

Requirements:

  • Maintain Sterile Processing or Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification
  • Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED.
  • Read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions.
  • LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
