Role Overview

STRS Ohio (State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio), one of the nation's largest public retirement systems with approximately $96.3 billion in assets, is hiring a Portfolio Manager for its International Equity team to manage its EAFE Quantitative and Emerging Markets Quantitative portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the EAFE Quantitative and Emerging Markets Quantitative portfolios
  • Develop and implement strategy for both quantitative international equity portfolios
  • Gather and analyze macroeconomic and country-level data to recommend country allocations
  • Oversee, lead, and direct the work of international equity quantitative analysts, including investment process and professional development
  • Maintain current knowledge of international equity markets and trends; deliver written and verbal recap presentations to investment staff
Qualifications
  • Experience managing quantitative international/emerging markets equity portfolios
  • Strong background in portfolio construction, risk management, and macro/country analysis
  • Leadership experience directing a team of analysts
Compensation & Location
  • $238,950–$286,740 base compensation
  • Columbus, Ohio — onsite, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm
