Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
G&J Pepsi seeks a Senior Finance Manager reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to support our Large and Small Format businesses. This role will provide financial leadership for large-format channels (grocery, supercenters, club stores, mass merchandisers) and small-format channels (convenience and fuel, dollar stores, drive-thrus, drug stores, etc.), delivering periodic reporting and analysis to identify opportunities in pricing strategy, sales-volume forecasting, and annual budgeting. The ideal candidate will possess beverage-industry experience, strong integrity, and a proactive, self-starting approach, with demonstrated ability to leverage analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and manage multiple priorities effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and management reporting for sales organizations.
  • Perform variance analysis of actual results versus plan and forecast for sales teams.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for sales system inquiries.
  • Lead development and implementation of pricing and costing systems for sales.
  • Facilitate regular performance review meetings, partnering with leadership to implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare analysis to support Capital infusion in key customers and areas of the business operations with understanding and coordination of Brand funding. Provide this data to sales leadership and recommend action plans.
  • Understand and advise on promotional activity success and calendar of key customer throughout the year to note key lift and activity in business results.
  • Support FP&A in preparing the annual financial budget and distribute finalized materials to sales managers.
  • Provide timely responses and support for sales P&L inquiries.
  • Safeguard confidentiality of financial data, pricing and product cost information, customer records, and other sensitive materials.

PROJECT RELATED FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain and update models for selling and delivery costs by channel, customer, and packaging.
  • Design and implement a framework to analyze drivers of the system's economic capacity.
  • Conduct field visits with sales teams to assess customers and identify pricing opportunities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and automation of reporting tasks.
  • Adhere to assigned work schedule, maintain consistent and reliable attendance, and work flexible hours as required to meet business needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related field strongly preferred; advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CPA, CFA) advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the beverage industry or 8-10 years' experience in a closely related sector preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis and problem solving, including identifying, defining, and resolving complex issues and interpreting data to draw actionable conclusions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and theory, with a working understanding of US GAAP.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision; highly motivated and accountable.
  • Rapid aptitude for learning new technologies and business applications.

COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel PivotTables for data aggregation, segmentation, and analysis.
  • Strong command of advanced Excel functions and formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, array formulas, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development (preferred).
