Job Summary:
Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Lead Data Migration Specialist to enhance their system's automation, speed, accuracy, and workflow. This role involves collaborating with development teams to improve client data onboarding processes and implementing solutions for continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Applies acquired skills, procedures, and decision-making best practices to resolve various issues.
• Loads and validates client data into the Clearwater investment account system as the primary responsibility.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of Clearwater Way methodologies to implement and onboard clients, including aligning and supporting CW's Client Engagement Model.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and takes the lead in implementing solutions, both individually and within their role, for continuous service improvement.
• Applies their understanding of the accounting equation, amortization, interest income, and other accounting concepts.
• Utilizes their understanding of data intake, normalization, reconciliation, and reporting workflow, along with related concepts.
• Applies their understanding of mortgages and private equity.
• Understands and applies Clearwater's core value proposition (aggregate, reconcile, report) in a market- and client-agnostic manner.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Solid foundation in accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Securities or financial markets knowledge, especially involving derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income.
• Project Management Skills (ex. workstream lead, organizing and managing priorities).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and math expertise.
• Bachelor’s & Master’s in finance or math, accounting, economics.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
