Ordering Coordinator - On-site

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Ordering Coordinator - On-site for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a Leading Technology Company located in Columbus, OH. Compensation: $20.00 per hour, W2

Overview: The Ordering Coordinator is responsible for submitting, processing, and completing various wireless device and service orders across multiple web- and email-based platforms while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). Working as part of the Ordering Team, this role manages several primary clients and requires a high level of attentiveness, adaptability, and effective communication through various channels. This position may require obtaining various security clearance levels and completing additional tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor incoming requests for mobile devices, equipment, and related services
  • Interpret customer requests and submit equipment or service orders to vendors
  • Utilize company-specific databases to accurately document and track order information
  • Perform daily follow-up on existing orders to ensure requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Apply critical thinking and available resources to proactively identify and resolve potential issues or delays
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and vendors to resolve issues and address concerns
  • Document each request and transaction from initiation through completion
  • Manage equipment and service orders for multiple clients simultaneously
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with federal and commercial clients
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, and related services
  • Prepare and provide weekly status reports to management on assigned work
  • Assist with operational tasks to support the Logistics team and ensure smooth client operations
  • Support the Shipping Department by identifying and processing orders
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Primary Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • At least six (6) months of experience in wireless communications
  • General knowledge of smartphone devices, mobile technologies, and wireless services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and technical support skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
