Job description

Our client, a leading distributor of food and beverage, is hiring a Cisco Network Engineer in Niles,IL!

*This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits!*

In this role, you will design, deploy, and optimize Cisco wireless networks across multiple locations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. You will troubleshoot wireless issues, perform site surveys, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve network performance and support infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and optimize Cisco wireless networks across multiple enterprise locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity, performance, and authentication issues while providing Tier 3 support.
  • Conduct wireless site surveys and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of enterprise wireless networking experience.
  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, and DNA Center.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless networking and troubleshooting.
