Job Description:
Position: Housing Program Specialist/Coordinator (PSH)
Division: Affordable Housing - Permanent Supportive Housing
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Housing Program Specialist/Coordinator to support daily operations, compliance, and leasing within a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) community. This role works closely with the Housing Authority, Continuum of Care (CoC) partners, and internal teams to ensure program compliance and high-quality resident services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary liaison with Housing Authority (applications, approvals, subsidy issues)
  • Process housing applications and maintain compliant resident files
  • Coordinate with CoC partners to ensure eligibility and program compliance
  • Support leasing, occupancy, and resident retention efforts
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations
  • Assist with inspections, audits, and reporting (MOR, REAC, etc.)
  • Support rent collection, subsidy tracking, and vendor invoices
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and partners

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of affordable housing/property management experience required
  • Required: Experience working with Housing Authority programs (HCV, PBV, or similar)
  • Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%
