Job description

Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from$23.00/hr. to $40.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications. 

What You'll Do:
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide comprehensive failure analysis and develop actionable recommendations to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to identify opportunities for service growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and sell recommended repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance solutions to customers, ensuring long-term equipment health and cost savings.
  • Complete accurate service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations, maintaining compliance with company standards.
  • Keep service vehicle stocked with proper tools, parts, and equipment to enable efficient, factory-approved service methods.
  • Represent OTC with a positive, professional image, while building strong customer relationships and trust.
  • Apply advanced mechanical and technical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
  • Work closely with team members and management to meet service goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to urgent service calls and provide rapid solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, build trust, and act as a technical advisor to customers.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Stay current on new technologies, equipment, and service techniques through ongoing training.
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
What You'll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED degree.
  • Multi-craft and/or technician experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A self-starter and highly motivated person.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and organized work habits allowing unsupervised work.
  • A commitment to the concept of “doing it right the first time".
  • Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. 
  • Valid Driver's License, must be able to complete a drug test and background check. 
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend for long periods of time repeatedly.
  • Must be coachable.
