Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

You enjoy shaping the future of developer productivity as a core leader - building a platform that makes engineers' lives better, driving value for the bank, and delivering experiences that developers love. Join our small, nimble team and make a meaningful impact by solving big problems for the business.

As a Product Manager on the Developer Platform team, you will be an integral part of the team that builds the platform that makes JPMorganChase a better place to work. We create a platform that lets developers, and the teams that work with developers, add value to the bank and do it as effectively as possible. Acting as the voice of the customer, you lead the end-to-end product life cycle: you guide successful launches, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier experiences for developers and the teams that work with them.

Our vision is that everyone, technical and non-technical, has the right to an awesome experience with our developer platform. We deliver best-in-class solutions that are fit-for-purpose for the bank: we give non-developers easy access to the platform, and we provide developers with easy access to their tools within it.

Job Responsibilities

You will be the Product Manager of two of our products. Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Own the roadmap and execution for two products within the Developer Platform portfolio (product details to be confirmed), aligning priorities to user needs and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead discovery and intake, translating customer problems into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and delivery plans (e.g., using Jira).
  • Gather and synthesize feedback and product signals - both active (e.g., CSAT) and passive (e.g., Adobe Analytics) - to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and measure impact.
  • Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end: concept, requirements, delivery, launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Review support tickets and user-reported issues to identify root causes and drive product improvements.
  • Build stakeholder communications, user documentation, and training materials to drive adoption and successful rollouts.
  • Drive integration of the Developer Platform into the broader JPMorganChase ecosystem through APIs and standardized integration interfaces.
  • Apply AI tools to increase your productivity and enhance product capabilities where appropriate.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience (or equivalent expertise) delivering customer-facing or platform products.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience bringing together cross-functional teams and driving execution in an agile delivery model.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and build coalitions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant experience working in a large company in a complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong developer empathy and understanding of developer workflows, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to uncover needs.
  • Familiarity using AI as a PM to accelerate research, synthesis, writing, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Comfort using product analytics and usage metrics (e.g., adoption, engagement) to prioritize and measure impact.
  • Experience with developer platforms/tools (e.g., internal platforms, APIs, self-service portals, CI/CD, developer tooling).
