We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to support the development and enhancement of advanced systems and tools in a government-focused environment. This role involves applying engineering and scientific expertise to complex technical projects, contributing to system design and architecture, and supporting the development of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Responsibilities Participate in the design, specification, and development of systems and tools for new and existing programs Support enhancements, modifications, and corrections to systems and applications Apply advanced knowledge of engineering principles, programming languages, techniques, and established best practices to technical projects Assist in solving technical challenges where objectives and requirements require further definition Recommend system architectures and support requirements allocation effort Prepare and contribute to technical reports, papers, proposals, briefings, and related documentation Collaborate closely with project teams and government stakeholders Work under limited supervision and provide technical direction to junior technical staff as needed Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience supporting technical projects and system development initiatives This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Requirements * TS/SCI clearance is required for this position. Candidates may start with an active Public Trust clearance or higher, provided they are eligible to obtain a TS/SCI.
