Insights & Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with client teams to solve dynamic business issues using analytics, modeling, and storytelling as tools.
  • Design custom analytical approaches with a broader ZS team to address specific client business needs.
  • Synthesize and communicate results concisely to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations in PowerPoint or through whiteboarding.
  • Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on aspects of projects.
  • Provide client and ZS teams project status updates proactively on a regular basis.
  • Create project deliverables and implement solutions.
  • Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZS's capabilities.
  • Guide and mentor Associates on teams.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as operations research, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering.
  • 2-4 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience. A PhD may substitute in lieu of work experience.
  • Strong advanced knowledge of Excel including: pivot tables, conditional formulas, index matching, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, intelligent data visualization, automation tasks, etc.
  • Preferred knowledge of one or multiple of the following, and an aptitude to develop more skills on the job: SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau, VBA in Excel
  • High motivation, good work ethic, proactivity, maturity and personal initiative.
  • Exemplary accountability and ownership of tasks.
  • Strong and concise oral and written communication skills.
  • Empathy, adaptability, receptive to listening, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Close attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset, looking for ways to consistently promote high quality assurance and control best practices across teams.
  • Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks for yourself and any junior team members.
