The Associate Director will be tasked with working on some of Monks' most important and valuable media client relationships. The Media Strategy team you will be supporting demonstrates expertise in five core areas:

  • World class ability to build client & platform relationships
  • Exceptional track record of managing and growing accounts
  • Fearless ability to tell data driven stories and extract key insights
  • Building and presenting high impact presentations to senior level clients  
  • Understanding of capabilities across the digital landscape with a focus on Social, Search, Display/OLV, Site-Direct
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end campaign orchestration across cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution, operational alignment, and delivery against client objectives.
  • Lead cross channel campaign planning efforts, and partner closely with key stakeholders to deliver holistic recommendations.
  • Own daily and weekly client interaction; facilitating client calls and in-person meetings to handle one off requests/questions and to share campaign performance details.
  • Own cross-functional coordination across Investment, Analytics, Business Operations, and Media Technology teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.
  • Analyze data, craft insights, and make recommendations internally and externally.
  • Brainstorming and implementing new ways to optimize client and business workflows
  • Lead integrated workback schedules, timelines, and operational processes across campaigns, ensuring teams are aligned on deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Partner closely with investment teams to oversee pacing, budget management, forecasting, and delivery across active campaigns.
  • Manage ad hoc client requests, evolving priorities, and business challenges in fast-moving environments while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Lead the development and communication of integrated campaign insights, performance narratives, and strategic recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand the full spectrum of services that Monks offers and be able to grow our new and existing client engagements in a thoughtful and consultative way.
  • Work with internal and external cross functional teams to package learnings into case studies, best practices, and client-facing POVs
  • Mentor and support junior team members across strategic thinking, client communication, and campaign management best practices.
  • Contribute to the culture of both the Enterprise Media Department, and overall agency by being curious, thoughtful and fearless.

  • Experience working with syndicated media planning tools like MediaOcean Prisma, Comscore, GWI, etc. to build audience driven plans.
