Your mission on the Engineering team:

At TouchTunes, your work matters, the Supplier Development Engineer is the technical bridge between Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and suppliers. This role is intended to close a current gap in the Loves Park organization by adding stronger technical and quality depth around supplier selection, supplier development, cost reduction, and production readiness.

Your day-to-day:

  • Partner with Supply Chain to lead technical supplier evaluation and selection, and support sourcing decisions for mechanical, electrical, fabricated, and outsourced components and services.

  • Drive supplier development plans focused on improving capability, quality, delivery, cost, and long-term scalability.
  • Own supplier readiness for production, including PPAP/APQP-style activities, first article validation, process qualification, and launch readiness.
  • Own technical execution of supplier-side changes, ensuring engineering changes, part transitions, and process updates are correctly implemented, controlled, and validated without introducing production risk.
  • Engage directly with suppliers to resolve capability and process gaps, supporting root cause analysis, process improvements, and sustained resolution of technical issues.

Your profile:

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in supplier development, supplier quality, sourcing engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a similar cross-functional role

  • Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, tolerances, process controls, and manufacturing methods.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality and industrialization tools such as:
    • 8D / CAPA
