Job description

The Digital Investment Associate is an entry-level role designed for someone looking to build hands-on experience across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and retail media. This position provides executional and operational support across the Digital Investment team, helping Platform Managers and Specialists efficiently plan, launch, manage, optimize, and report on digital media campaigns.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and eager to learn how digital media campaigns operate across platforms and channels. Working closely with experienced team members, this person will gain exposure to the core functions of a Platform Manager role, including campaign setup, quality assurance, pacing, performance monitoring, reporting, and platform best practices.

This role is intended to build a broad foundation across digital investment before developing deeper expertise within a specific channel or platform discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support campaign builds, trafficking, launches, monitoring, and routine optimizations across digital media platforms
  • Assist with campaign pacing and performance monitoring, proactively flagging potential issues or opportunities to senior team members
  • Complete campaign QAs across budgets, audiences, targeting, placements, creative assets, URLs, tracking parameters, naming conventions, and settings
  • Contribute campaign observations, insights, and optimization recommendations under the guidance of Platform Managers and Specialists
  • Assist with audience, keyword, marketplace, publisher, inventory, and competitive research across digital investment channels
  • Help manage recurring operational tasks and lower-complexity campaign activities, allowing Platform Managers and Specialists to focus on higher-level strategy, optimization, and client responsibilities
  • Stay current on digital advertising platforms, media products, privacy considerations, industry trends, best practices, and relevant certification opportunities
  • Participate in team meetings, platform trainings, and development opportunities to build foundational knowledge across the Digital Investment discipline

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Experience (0-2 years) in digital marketing, paid media, advertising, analytics, or a related field preferred; relevant internship experience is welcome
  • Strong interest in digital advertising, media platforms, performance marketing, and data-informed decision-making
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, budgets, and campaign performance data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and continuously learn
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and resourceful approach
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Simpli.fi, TheTradeDesk, Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with GA4, campaign tracking, ad serving, or digital media platform certifications is a plus
