Job description

Summary:

In this role, you will translate healthcare analytics, research, and emerging industry trends into actionable insights that help clients anticipate change, improve strategic decision-making, and achieve exceptional outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop innovative analytics, evaluate surgery service line performance, and deliver data-driven recommendations through research, presentations, and client engagements.

Responsibilities:

Translate healthcare analytics, research, and emerging industry trends into actionable products, deliverables, and client experiences.

Synthesize research findings and data analyses into service line insights that support annual updates to Sg2 analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model.

Identify strategic issues and develop analytical solutions that help clients understand business challenges and future opportunities.

Collaborate with service line, analytics, and enterprise subject matter experts to develop high-quality client deliverables and responses.

Develop written materials, presentations, podcasts, videos, and meeting content to communicate research findings and strategic recommendations.

Assess surgery service line operations, clinical care delivery models, healthcare policy, scientific literature, and industry trends to generate meaningful insights.

Analyze large, complex, and dynamic internal and external healthcare data sets to develop cross-service line analytical solutions.

Deliver presentations and facilitate in-person and virtual client meetings with confidence and professionalism.

Leverage industry knowledge, analytics expertise, and emerging technologies, including AI, to develop recommendations that address client needs.

Apply creativity, objectivity, critical thinking, and analytical rigor to solve complex healthcare business challenges.

Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in an applied healthcare, research, business, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, or health administration field preferred.

5 or more years of relevant experience required.

Advanced proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and AI technologies required.

Knowledge of Healthcare supplier and/or life sciences perspectives required.

Experience in health system enterprise planning, surgery service line or hospital operations, clinical services, or healthcare analytics required; surgery services experience highly preferred.

Experience working with healthcare data within a hospital, healthcare payer, life sciences organization, or similar healthcare environment preferred.

Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
