    JOB TITLE: Technical Program Manager - AHE Operations and AI Enablement
    LOCATION: Foster City, CA (Hybrid; 3 days in office)
    PAY RANGE: $80 - $90/hr.
    DURATION: 6 months
    TOP 3 SKILLS:
    • 6+ years of Technical Program Management experience leading complex cross-functional hardware and/or software programs.
    • Experience with end-to-end product development processes, including JIRA, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, risk tracking, and reporting.
    • Strong understanding of AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic coding workflows using tools such as Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, or Windsurf.

    Job Description:
    The Advanced Hardware Engineering (AHE) team is responsible for delivering the compute and controls hardware, infotainment and telematics control units, and electrical components that power the future fleet of self-driving vehicles. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead AHE Operations, including quarterly planning, budgeting, and various other operational improvement initiatives. You will also lead the definition, development, and rollout of AI automation tools that empower AHE TPMs and Engineering to significantly elevate their productivity.
    In this role, you will work cross-functionally with engineering teams and partners across hardware, firmware, software, vehicle engineering, procurement, and manufacturing. You will serve as an authentic and passionate servant leader within One. Guided by our core principles, you will help deliver AHE systems end-to-end and enable it to meet its business objectives.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead AHE Operations: Lead the AHE quarterly planning process, budgeting, and various operational improvement initiatives. These initiatives may include developing systematic approaches to JIRA planning and issue management frameworks. Assist in TPM processes and continuous improvement frameworks that increase engineering velocity and system reliability.
    • Lead AHE AI Tools and Scaling: Lead the definition, development, and rollout of AI automation tools that empower AHE TPMs and Engineering to significantly elevate productivity through agentic integration across JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Google Suite, and other IT tools.
    • Drive Issue Resolution: Own AHEs JIRA hygiene and issue-resolution targets, supporting the team in resolving critical issues and cross-team requests within agreed timelines.
    • Configuration Management: Work with cross-functional teams to streamline firmware configuration for all projects across different target configuration phases.
    • Collaborate: Actively invite diverse perspectives, ensuring all voices are heard and valued in decision-making to strengthen outcomes as One Team.
    • Communicate Status: Develop and maintain standard reports and one-pagers to communicate program status, risks, issues, and achievements concisely and effectively to key stakeholders and leadership.

    Qualifications:
    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent job experience.
    • At least 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management with a strong track record of leading and delivering complex cross-functional programs across hardware and/or software.
    • Processes and Operations: Hands-on familiarity with end-to-end product development processes, with proficiency in tools required to manage complex programs (i.e., Gantt charts, risk tracking and reporting, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.).
    • AI: Proven understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI tools such as Claude and Gemini. Proficiency in agentic coding workflows using Cursor, Claude Code, Visual Studio Code, Windsurf, or other Integrated Development Environments.
    • Ability to keep the big picture in focus and provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to the appropriate audience. Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are required.

    Bonus Qualifications:
    • AI: Proven experience building AI-based solutions in SMB/Enterprise environments to automate workflows across JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack, and other productivity tools.
    • Operations: Previous product development Operations Program Management experience spanning areas such as budgeting, organization-wide planning cycles, risk management, reporting (JIRA, dashboards), and process development.
