    Description
    The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and direction for the proper maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive, proactive methods and processes in order to maximize the operating capacity and efficiency of all manufacturing equipment and related systems including air and electricity.
    Responsibilities
    • Provide leadership, including training and development, to maintenance department associates working across multiple shifts.
    • Develop and execute strategies to improve the reliability and operating effectiveness of all manufacturing processes
    • Maintain records of all preventive maintenance process along with records of fixed assets for the facility
    • Develop and manage appropriate metrics to provide feedback on equipment effectiveness and maintenance labor productivity
    • Utilize root cause identification/failure analysis and corrective actions for maintenance related failures
    • Develop and manage a budget for all plant maintenance, utility, and departmental costs
    • Instill discipline and accountability to comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards as set forth under regulatory agencies and the company
    • Coordinate and provide oversight in the use of outside contractors
    • Manage capital improvement projects related to the building and grounds including scope and specifications, quoting, project implementation and oversight, and cost management

    Qualifications
    • 5 years or more of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment, including CNC lathes, mills, and grinders
    • Strong planning and organization skills and attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems a plus
    • Demonstrated implementation of predictive and proactive maintenance methods and processes
    • Excellent leadership and organizational skills to lead, motivate, and develop personnel and to foster an environment of cooperation and continuous improvement
    • Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline required
