Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Director in Building Solutions based in Orlando (FL). In this role, you will lead major, complex construction projects that shape the future of sustainable energy infrastructure in your region. You'll drive strategic vision, coordinate expert teams, and ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and manage major construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and sustainability guidelines.
  • Oversee project scope, setup, design, tendering, contractor selection, execution, and progress monitoring, keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Build and guide a high-performing project team, clearly communicating project goals, timelines, and strategies.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring legal, safety, and regulatory compliance at every stage.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular, accurate project updates and driving continuous improvement in project management processes.
  • Champion digitalization and automation by leveraging digital tools and project management software to optimize efficiency and reporting.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency measures and green building certifications, and share your expertise with the broader Real Estate community.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale construction projects for industrial facilities, with strong exposure to international and multicultural environments.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field; project management certification (PMP, IPMA) and experience in construction contract management are strong advantages.
  • Deep understanding of CAPEX drivers in industrial facility design and construction, with the ability to connect technical decisions to financial outcomes.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with multinational teams; advanced English proficiency is required.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
