Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Developer to focus on heavy feature development and maintenance on a large code base. The role involves transitioning from web to native view and requires strong knowledge in MVVM architecture and Android development tools.
Responsibilities:

• Looking for a Sr Dev as they move from web to native view; edit access is a key component.
Qualifications:
Required:
• heavy feature development and maintenance on a large code base
• Strong concept of MVVM - where most of the business logic is built
• understand the fundamentals of Compose for building out UI
• Familiarity of dependency injection - doesnt necessarily matter on which tool
• Experience with latest Android SDK / Android Studio
• Dagger
• Retrofit / OKHttp
• Jetpack Compose
• MVVM
• Git
• Coroutines
• Hilt
• Espresso
• Honeycomb
• Splunk
Preferred:
• Kotlin is a huge plus
• Claude/AI experience for unit testing, end-to-end automation test and refactors
• RXJava (no longer a requirement - this is being phased out)
