Job description

Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer who can lead hands-on analytics engineering work and partner closely with the business. The role involves designing and building scalable analytics data models, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing technical leadership in analytics engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build scalable analytics data models and curated datasets using Snowflake and dbt Cloud (must be technically deep in both)
• Own complex SQL and dbt development (transformations, testing, documentation, performance optimization)
• Partner with business stakeholders, PMs, and analytics engineers to translate requirements into strong data models
• Establish best practices for analytics engineering, data modeling, testing, and reusable patterns
• experience with synch tools such as Fivetran for Real-Time ingestion.
• Deliver trusted, analytics‐ready data for reporting, self‐service BI, and AI use cases
• Troubleshoot data issues and drive data quality, consistency, and trust
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across analytics engineering work
Qualifications:
Required:
• experienced Analytics Engineer (10+ years)
• Design and build scalable analytics data models and curated datasets using Snowflake and dbt Cloud (must be technically deep in both)
• Own complex SQL and dbt development (transformations, testing, documentation, performance optimization)
• Partner with business stakeholders, PMs, and analytics engineers to translate requirements into strong data models

• Strong hands‐on experience with analytics engineering, data modeling, advanced SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and GitHub
• 10+ years of Data Engineering/Analytics experience
• 3+ years of Snowflake
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling
• Strong stakeholder communication, problem‐solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to balance speed with scalable, well‐governed design
Preferred:
• No H1B and CPT, USC and GC highly preferred
