to lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded analytics solutions within the S/4HANA ecosystem. This hands-on role focuses on creating Core Data Services (CDS) views, operational reports, and Fiori dashboards to deliver real-time business insights and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CDS view development, Fiori Analytical Apps, SAP
Datasphere, and SAP business processes such as Order to Cash, Forecast to Delivery, and Record to Report. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-performance analytics solutions, educating end users, and shaping data-driven reporting strategies aligned to business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Embedded Analytics Configuration: Set up and configure embedded analytics functionalities within SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori integration.
- CDS View Development: Design and develop custom CDS views; tailor standard models to provide actionable insights aligned with operational and strategic needs.
- Data Modeling & Visualization: Build user-friendly Fiori-based reports and dashboards that support real-time analytics across key business processes.
- Reporting Strategy: Define and implement operational reporting guidelines and strategies tailored to business units and functions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune embedded analytics performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability.
- User Training & Enablement: Develop training materials and lead sessions to ensure effective adoption of analytics tools by business users.
- Requirement Analysis & Solutioning: Capture and analyze business requirements, define technical architecture, provide development estimates, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
- SAP Datasphere Integration: Design and manage data flows between S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere, including data extraction and replication.
- Security & Governance: Ensure appropriate user access, role-based privileges, and data security in compliance with internal policies.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, particularly CDS Views development.
- Proven expertise in data modeling for CDS views and Fiori Analytical Applications.
- Strong understanding of key SAP business processes: Order to Cash, Forecast to Delivery, and Record to Report.
- Experience in SAP Fiori, SAP Reporting, and data warehouse solutions.
- Solid experience capturing requirements, defining architecture, preparing estimates, and designing technical solutions.
- In-depth understanding of S/4HANA tables, data structures, and data models.
- Strong grasp of SAP security concepts, including user roles and privileges.
- Experience with SAP Datasphere architecture, capabilities, and integration with various source systems.
- Knowledge of data replication flows and data extraction techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
