Supervisor, Production Floor
Job Summary:
The Supervisor, Production Floor assists the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist Supervisors in the SelectRx division. This position staffs to ensure operational measures are obtained and helps support the management of the pharmacy staff internally and externally.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and supervises departmental personnel including: Orientation Training Monitoring
Determining workload Delegating assignments anScheduling
Evaluating performance (on an annual basis or as needed) with Pharmacy manager
Supports corrective and disciplinary actions
Support quality improvement by:
Assisting manager/assistant manager in delivering and maintaining employee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and/or corrective actions
Assisting manager/assistant manager in improving processes in production
Implements and adheres to all SelectRx policies and procedures
Participates and assists in the screening interviewing and evaluation of employee candidates while also making recommendations to hire promote or discipline current employees while coordinating and implementing teamwork
Operates within the professional standards in compliance with Federal State Local and Business regulation while enforcing the laws regarding the practice of pharmacy
Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager
Ensure that all cold medications are properly stored at the end of the day
Notify the pharmacy manager and assistant manager if there are any major issues or concerns that necessitate storing medications outside of their normal locations on the production floor

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
2+ years’ experience working in clinical manufacturing preferred
3+ years leading fast paced metric driven teams
Familiarity with Six Sigma principles
Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt preferred
Certificates/Licenses/Registration
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
Associates assigned to the Indianapolis, IN Facility: Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license or active Tech in Training license required
Associates assigned to the Monaca, PA Facility: Pennsylvania State Pharmacy Technician license or active Technician Trainee license required
Associates assigned to the Olathe, KS Facility: Kansas State Pharmacy Technician license required
Financial Responsibilities (budget, revenue):
This position has no budget responsibility, authority and/or level of control.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves work in a production or warehouse environment and requires regular presence on the production floor.
The role requires:
At least 8 hours of standing and walking throughout the workday
Frequent movement between workstations and productionareas
Reoccurring bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders
Use of hands and arms for handling, operating, or monitoring equipment
Ability to move, position, or transport materials or products weighing up to 15 pounds, with or without assistance
Extended periods of continuous standing at a computer or workstation
A high level of physical activity and stamina consistent with a production-floor environment.
